Its owner, Thomas Sonnichsen, started from humble beginnings in the dive industry as far back as 1996. Young, and seeking work, he walked into a dive shop and was hired as a salesman.
He had previously never dived before, but was sent on an Open Water dive course by the manager. Thomas was bitten by the dive bug! The rest as they say is history...
After many years of loyal experience in the retail and wholesale dive industry, Thomas finally realised his dream of opening up his own dive shop.
His great entrepreneurial spirit as well as his extensive experience in the diving industry, coupled with loads of passion and energy, has made The Dive Shop the success it is today.
